This fishing sun hat provides great UV protection and ventilation with its mesh design. I like the wide brim which will give shade, and the waterproof material is great. In my opinion, this is a useful hat for fishing, at the beach or any outdoor activity.

I have a close family member who has been fighting malignant melanoma for several years. I’m pale skinned with blue eyes and strawberry blonde hair, so I’m already at an increased risk. I have to be out in the sun a lot, and I am trying to be more careful, so I ordered this sun hat as a precaution. It appears to be fairly well-made with good stitching. I like that it has the adjustable strap for under the chin because I normally wear my hair up when I’m out working, and I can’t keep hats on unless they have a strap. What they are calling an adjustable inner rope is really a very thin ribbon attached on one end so you can pull it tight from the other if you choose (I included a pic). The hat fits my husband and me; the sizing seems accurate. Since it isn’t sunny here (still technically winter), I won’t know if the brim is wide enough to actually cover my whole face on bright, sunny days, but it seems to be a good size. It’s hand washable, which is a plus especially with it being a light color. It’s a nice, lightweight sun hat.
