UTOBEST Running Vest is a great running vest. It’s incredibly easy to adjust and took a surprisingly short amount of time to adjust to a perfect fit and it was very comfortable. Normally I have to fidget with the vests for 10 mins the first time around to find the right fit. This one was so easy to adjust and just keep tweaking until it was comfy but secure enough not to move much while running or exercising. It is very lightweight and breathable and I forgot I was wearing it a lot the time. There are multiple pockets on each side of varying sizes that can hold snacks, gloves, the included water bottle, earphones, etc.There is a dedicated zip phone pocket, however it will not fit an XL phone comfortably. You can technically get a large phone into the pocket but it’s not going to be easy to take your phone in and out of. That’s ok though because a couple of the other pockets will fit XL phones. To be clear, the XL phone by itself will actually fit into the phone pocket, it just won’t fit with a phone case on. All the pockets do need a bit of wearing in and they do stretch out some after you’ve used them for about an hour or so.It also comes with their 500ml/17oz soft water bottle. This is actually one of the better soft water bottles I’ve used so far and I really like it. I’ve been taking it with me all over, not just while running. It hasn’t leaked on me at all, it folds up super small. It’s easy to clean, seal and unseal. It holds just the right amount of water without being cumbersome. And just generally works well. I’m actually going to get more of just this bottle, as it’s super handy to have a few and be able to take it with you in case you need a water bottle.The other thing I love about this vest is the nighttime blinker light. I was concerned at first that it might just be a cheapo gimmicky light that they just threw in as an after thought. But it actually gets quite bright and has multiple modes, including a blinking mode. And it has a very strong and secure clip, so you can clip it on a specific spot on the back of the vest and run at night. I feel a lot safer walking or running with it on, knowing I won’t get clipped by a car or ebike or something else.Overall I think this vest is great and it comes with so many pockets and well-designed features. It’s not something I thought i’d need but I find myself picking it up everyday to exercise with. The only thing I’d fix in the next generation of vest is making that phone pocket a little bigger. Otherwise, this vest has everything you could want in a running and workout vest and at $40 I’d highly recommend it.
