These are really nice water flasks. I like the size of the larger ones. They are very easy to use. Have a nice wide mouth that will set most ice cubes.They’ll hold a hole bottle of water and you don’t have to worry about having a place to throw the bottle away when you’re done. These fold right up and fit right in your pocket after you’re done using them. I filter all my own water rather than buying bottled. These are really nice for taking it with me to work or anything else. I’m doing. Without having trash to get rid of. Great for running or backpacking, since they are nice and compact after use. Plus being made to accept an in-line water filter is definitely nice when you’re out camping. If you don’t want to filter the water ahead of time or don’t have the ability to otherwise.

I got this set of two UTOBEST 500ml soft/flexible TPU hydration water bottles for my wife and I, to use when on light hikes, or during the summer when we’re out and about.The bottle feels better, but it’s like carrying a small disposable plastic bottle of water. For one, it just doesn’t hold enough water. I can see that being useful maybe as a runner, but not ideal for everyday use. That isn’t too big of a deal, if you have water near to be able to refill it. What I really didn’t like is that you’re must carry it in a pocket or purse. That there is a plastic taste, even after washing. Lastly, you have to squeeze the bottle or tilt it for the water to come out adequately, white biting the valve.What I like is the it is super light, and portable. I like that it is very soft, and that you’re able to fill it, cap it, and clean it with no problems.

I got the wide-mouth version of these for ease of filling and maybe added durability. So far I have used them in a bag for biking, and they work well enough. I think in retrospect I would probably have preferred the narrower mouths as I don’t trust these to hold up to ice poking them, so the easier fill is kind of moot, and it makes for a less compact package when emptied since you have the larger lid.The mouthpiece is easy to use either for direct sucking or spraying (though either requires a bite so it’s not like a traditional bike water bottle.As others have noted, the TPU smell / taste is strong at first (comes with the territory), though I expect that to get better over time, and personally, it does not bug me too much even now.I think ultimately my hesitation with these is the durability. I have not rough-tested them yet or anything, but I’m hesitant to, say, put them in a pocket while skiing, as they could outright burst, and the bite valve is not completely sealed so enough pressure could cause a leak. For me, the wide mouth, as I mentioned, is probably a downside for compactness when empty. But, I think that at the end of the day I was maybe asking a different use from these than they are built for. I think these are ideal in a purpose build running bib or bike jersey, neither of which I have at the moment. I think so long as you treat them with some care, they will be good for you for your uses. I’m just finding exactly the right one still, is all!
