This is a nice straw cowboy hat with an American Flag Pattern on it. For a straw cowboy hat, the quality is much better than I was expecting. The hat looks and feels nicely made and the materials it is made feel nice quality and sturdy. The look colors, look and style of the hat are as expected based on the product photos. The outer part of the crown has a star pattern that is blue in color with tan (straw color) stars and secured at the bases a thin black band that is accented with silver studs in an alternating pattern of the different stud shapes (round and star) that goes around the entire base of the crown. The upper part of the brim is about 1/4 covered in the same blue and tan (straw color) pattern as the crown and the remaining 3/4 of the upper part of the brim is a red and tan (straw color) pattern). The underbrim has a similar design to the upper brim but 1/4 of is is the star patten and 3/4 of it is the striped pattern. The dents and dip in the crown of the hat as well as the rounding and dip on the brim are evenly done, look nice, feel study and do not feel like the hat will lose shape or dent easily unless it a lot of force is put on it or it is majorly crushed by something heavy. The inside of the crown hat is black in the color and is not fully lined making it a little breathable however there is a band of fabric that goes around the bottom portion of the inner cap which I find makes it comfortable to wear as the straw is not against my skin and the piece of fabric also acts as a sweat band. The hat also comes with that attaches at two places on the inside of the crown of the hat and helps from losing the hat while wearing it in the wind or during other activities that it may hall off. However I love that the strap can be attached and removed as needed since I typically prefer to not have a strap on my hats. As for the fit of the hat, if fits both my head and my fainces head (for reference, we are an adult female and male) and we both find that its is comfortable to wear. Overall I am happy with this hat, it is nice quality, the look and design of it are as I was expecting, it has a nice fit and also looks great on.
