Saris Bones 2-Bike Hitch Rack Bicycle Carrier, with Easy Fold Design and Tilting Base

I have a carbon framed Mt bike and “had” a steel thule that was as heavy as a boat anchor. The Saris solves that problem and is so light its a pleasure to use and easy to move and store. The rack is well built and I love its simplicity. A+++ for the Saris.

My previous experience with Saris was with their Superbones trunk mount 2 bike rack. Loved it! The. I changed cars and needed a hitch type. Naturally I went back to my favorite company. This rack is simple to use and very reasonably priced. My husband and I are not avid bike enthusiasts so we were not looking to spend a lot of money on a sometime hobby. However we also wanted something that was going to protect our investment in bicycles. This rack was perfect. I can even tilt it to get into the back of my SUV. Great rack, superior customer service, very reasonable price. What more could anyone want?

I bought this recently and have been very pleased. It was very easy to assemble despite the instructions not being too helpful. Apparently instructions can be pictures only now? Anyway, I assembled it, easily got it on my car because it was light, and it’s super easy to load and unload with bikes. Also removing it or installing it on the car is a breeze also. It came with a yellow strip you can place on the rack after you load it on the vehicle so you will have the depth marked when you load it on again in the future. It is very handy that you can lower the arms when not in use so if you choose to keep it on the vehicle full time you can still easily park in a garage.
