This is the perfect wide-brim sun hat for sitting out in the yard, working in the garden, or taking a long walk. Hats are usually a little too big for my head, but luckily this hat has an adjustable pull cord at the back so I can make it fit me perfectly. It looks good on me, so says my husband! I like the look, too! He tried it on and it looks just as good on him! It’s a unisex design.The fabric is very lightweight and is silky soft and smooth. Everything is perfectly stitched. Nice quality. The brim stays rigid on the front half, but the back flows down to cover the back of my neck so I don’t get burned. I love the additional breathable front flap to keep my face and neck from getting burned when facing the sun. It even has an under-chin strap to keep it on if it’s windy. It’s a great hat! I love it!

This is a well made, light weight sun hat. I normally wear a 7 3/8 hat, and this one is comfortable for me, if not a smidge large. But, it has an easily adjustable neck strap to keep it from blowing off if it’s windy out. The front brim is large and offers good sun protection.There is no back brim….only the back flap which is permanently sewn to the hat. So be advised, the hat is designed to be worn with the flap down.The hat also comes with a removable face flap for additional sun protection. It snaps on/off so it is optional.It is very light weight and comfy, IMO. Recommended.

We live in the Southeast and, let me tell you….It gets HOT! Not being a native of the South, it was hard to get used to. Yet, we would see landscapers and gardeners wearing these hats. So, why not get one. It is the best thing I have gotten so far! It covers your head, neck, and if you want, your face too. Made of lightweight material, this will provide the shade needed to keep you from burning. Let’s face it (Pun Intended) Sun Burns are no fun!!I have so many friends getting treated for cancer of the skin because, like many of us, we did not know the effects of the Sun when we were younger.
