ONIPAX Triangle Bike Fork Mount Hitch Rack 100mm with 9mm Quick Release, for 9mmx100mm；12mmx100mm；15mm x100mm

I bought the 110mm version w/ roof rack mount for my boost spaced MTB (15×110). It works great for that. Unfortunately the other two sides are basically unusable without modification. For some reason the other sides are also 110mm width, which is not a common size for 12mm or 9mm (QR). I ended up cutting off 5mm from each side of the 12mm side so it’s usable with my gravel bike as well (12x100mm). I didn’t both hacking the 9mm side since the adapter is redundant for QR application. It would be nice if they made the 15mm boost side 110mm and the other two sides 100mm. It would fit the majority of forks on the market.Another issue is that the holes in the roof rack mount unnecessarily ovalized, allowing for potential movement over time. I would have preferred circular holes that matched the diameter of the bolts provided.Some obvious design oversights, but for the price (and with some modification) it’s decent enough.

I was after a specific size (12X110 mm) adapter/mount for a Specialized bike so I could use an old Park bike repair stand. Park makes an adapter but it is 12X100 mm. It could/would have worked but I was looking for something more secure and exact. The ONIPAX mount worked perfectly. I liked the finish and the exact measurements. I also consider the universal mounts where spacers/adapters were used but I am glad I went with the ONIPAX mount since I wouldn’t have to worry about the spacers or adapters falling off when mounting the bike. Some welding was necessary to build the sliding adapter.

These fork mounts are quite nice. They are aluminum, anodized in light silver and mount quite easily. It arrives with a 9mm heavy QR axle. The mounting bolt hole size is drilled for 1/4″ or 6mm. You could use a standard hex head bolt, or an anti-theft bolt to mount them to your rack/vehicle. It’s a really nice design that will allow you to fit different axle’d bikes from the 60’s all the way to today’s current large axle bikes. An added benefit of the triangular design allows you to secure your bike with a heavy nylon coated cable lock. There’s a YouTube video about making this type of strut channel mounting system for your pickup truck bed. I used all stainless hardware so it will never rust. If you mount just 2 bikes in a Chevy Colorado, to the far outside perimeter, your rear view vision is not blocked at all. If you have a Silverado, F150 or Ram, you’ll have plenty of rear view visibility through your rear view mirror. These are made in Taiwan, but they’re really good quality; and it would cost you more $$ to fabricate them, than just buying ’em.
