Nathan Reflex Snap Band (2 Pack)

The reflective bands work well . . . for a good number of uses, but not others. Remember the cost is less than ten dollars. I wear them, and have worn them, as wrist bands, both arms, for about five years, for early morning running (in the dark). Worn over long sleeves, I have had no issues with cutting or chaffing the skin. They have never come off my wrists. That being said, after about two years, the plastic coating has separated from the metal band. But . . . several time over the years I judge that these wrists bands have made me visible to cars (especially turning cars whose headlights may not catch my Nathan vest) when these drivers may otherwise not have seen me. So less than ten dollars every two years was reasonable to avoid a possibility of being hit. Now, I wore them once hiking. No good. The trees pulled one off my wrist at some point, and the band was never to be found. And while some people have success around the ankles, I have not. My conclusion: good product, great value, when used in the right situation.
