Mountainsmith Clear Creek 10 Hydration Backpack

This is a fantastic bag for the price. We have used this for endurance horse riding and it works perfectly. It would be excellent as a light adventure touring motorcycle pack as well.Pros:- Comes with a 2L hydration bladder which is actually really nice! It has a quick release hose, a bite valve with shutoff, and uses quality hardware throughout. It’s BPA free and didn’t impart any plastic taste through two days of use. The hose can be routed over either shoulder and there is a clip on the chest strap.- Useful main and top pocket, as well as a back stretch panel for stuffing layers. The back stretch panel has adjustable clips so you can fit a ton in there and it cinches down nice and tight.- The straps are easy to adjust for a secure fit even in high motion activities like riding or trail running.Cons:- No top handle for easy carrying – there’s a loop for hanging but you can barely get two fingers through- No waist belt pockets like some other bags for easy GU storage (there are ones on the shoulder straps though)- No water bottle pocket, what looks like side pockets are extensions of the main back stretch panel- The back stretch panel doesn’t have great ventilation, so wet clothes won’t dry as well as in other packs
