These are the best all-around soles for chasing Stripers up and down the East coast. Seriously… The little studs are not at all obtrusive or klunky like the bigger hex studs can be, and they grip slippery Montauk rocks like little champs. Then, when the fish follow the bait on down the beach to where it’s all soft sand sans rocks, the felt does the job and it’s as if the metal studlets aren’t even there. I pretty much keep these on for 90% of my salt water fishing. Really only need to swap out to the hex when chasing those Trout around the upper Delaware River. I don’t want to be the guy who spreads microbiotic invasive species from one stream to another. Those little summbeeyotches love to cling to that felt and go on holiday to far away strange lands where the denizens of a new Creek speak an entirely different little microbiotic languageThey are so adventurous. You will be too if you buy these awesome Korker soles!

Where felt is allowed these are excellent. I now have these and 4 other Korker sole types . Great concept , great quality, great product. Just used them in Montana and they were far better than my previous studded boots. Rock solid grip !
