This hat was purchased so I could return a company hat before I retire. So far it’s worked very well. It folds up easily to place in the messenger type bag I carry. I read a comment in one of the reviews about tightening the headband rather than tightening the strap to keep the hat on one’s head on windy days. Take that comment seriously because it’s spot on.Speaking of the strap, the one on this hat has already stayed on longer than the company issued hat. The brim is wide enough to keep the sun off my face and the back of my neck. Despite the fact that this hat is being modeled on men’s heads the style works for me so ladies don’t be deterred from ordering this model if it’s what you want. Florida hasn’t gotten in to its summer heat, humid and rainy days yet so I can’t review how well it will hold up then or if my forehead will start itching because the browband is retaining sweat and needs washing. Today I give this hat a 4.5 ⭐ rating. If it was in feminine friendly colors I would buy more.
