It comes in an all black color and there is also a black keychain ring. It feels and sounds like the clips are a zinc alloy and they are corrosion resistant as well.The spring action on the hook release is easy to use and has kind of a flat face to press down on with your finger. The nylon on this clip is actually very dense, rigid, and thick. It is not easy to bend. There is a metal snap button and there is also hook and loop sections on the inside of the nylon strap so they stay in place securely and can be used to attach onto different things like webbing, or a belt. At this price point, it seems like a good value and I am happy with how strong they feel. They seem like they would be great for the outdoors and also can handle a lot of abuse. They seem to be compatible with MOLLE gear as well.
