DORSAL Sunguard No Fade Full Size Truck Tailgate Pad for Bicycle and Mountain Bikes

Overall this tailgate holder works pretty well. The only reason this did not get five stars is that the top could use more padding. The first time I used it my bike had a wear mark where the bottom tube makes contact with the pad. The bike was secure as the straps will let you go and the wear was bad enough to remove paint on the bottom tube. It’s as if the corner edge of the top of the tail gate does not have enough padding to properly stop a pressure point. I’ll just use an additional small towel and wrap my frame, but a little disappointed.

Very nice for the price, looks fairly tough. I wish it had quick release attach points Vs threading thru a buckle, would make it easier and quicker to secure. Fits great on my RAM1500 truck and protects the tailgate paint well. I have a bed liner so inside and on top of tailgate I don’t really need any protection but it’s there with this cover.
