CamelBak Zoid Snow Hydration Pack 70oz

The Camelback name speaks for itself and the quality of this pack doesn’t disappoint. Everything from the zippers to the material is high quality. The design in well thought out and even includes a loop for attaching a lift ticket. Even using cold tap water, the pack’s insulation was enough to keep the water from freezing.The only problem we had was water in the silicone bite nozzle freezing solid. Holding the nozzle in your mouth for a little while (half a chairlift ride) should thaw it enough to get a little water flowing. Once a little bit starts flowing, the rest quickly melts.Next vacation we’ll try using warm/hot water. This should slow the freezing and keep us warm, too!

Worked perfectly in Utah this year snowboarding. I wasn’t thirsty like last year

Great for keeping the water from freezing. The little pocket is a bit too small, can’t fit much more than a few granola bars. My mitten glove liners are even too big to fit in there. Any of my jacket pockets are bigger.

Very well made, insulated and slim. Only one very small pocket, so this is not the backpack for carrying more than water.
