CamelBak Women’s Solstice LR 10 Bike Hydration Pack Lumbar Reservoir 100oz

I have owed several Camelbaks. I am an avid MTB rider and hiker. This pack is, bar-none, the best. It has an awesome double cinch waist belt that provides excellent support. The bladder is wider and sits lower, so all the weight is carried mostly on my hips, instead of against my back. This makes it more comfortable and cooler. The side pockets are awesome! I have type 1 diabetes, so when I am out exercising and start to get low blood sugar, I have to eat immediately. With previous Camelbaks, this meant having to get off my bike, take off my pack, and retrieve my food. But with this pack, I can continue riding and just unzip the waist belt side pocket and grab my food. This pack is perfect for me. Comfortable and stores a good amount of gear. The only things I am not crazy about: 1. the main large storage area is shared with the water bladder, so anything I put in there, I place in a plastic bag just to be safe in case the bladder leaks; 2. The other storage compartment is pretty roomy but it’s a little difficult to access….it would be nice if the zipper opening was wider; 3. there is no open storage area like previous camelbaks, and no stretch ties to stuff your windbreaker on the outside of your pack.
