I ordered this light to use in case of emergency when I am hiking. While it is still cold for my taste to hike yet, I have tried the light in the house and am very happy with it. There are more than one settings with options such as whether it blinks or not. The light itself seems like it would carry a pretty long way! The size and design with the clip also makes it easy to attach to your clothing so that you don’t have to actually carry something in your hands while hiking, kayaking, running, or whatever your preferred sport is. This is small enough that you could also attach it to your dog’s collar if he/she tends to wander away when it is darker off. I am happy with my light and looking forward to use it out on the trails.

The magnetic connection is powerful and secure. The light charges easily with the USB-C to USB-A connector cord that is supplied. A charge is stated to last from 1.3 (constant illumination) to 18 hours (flashing). The short constant illumination runtime makes this light unsuitable for group nighttime cycling where other cyclists find flashing lights annoying. At its brightest constant and flash settings the light output is 20 lumens, fairly typical for a wearable safety light but not as bright as the brightest rear lights made for cycling. It comes with a clip to attach it to clothes, backpacks, bicycle seat or rack bags, dog’s collar, or some caps. You can purchase a wristband and a lanyard separately. At present, there are not armband or bicycle helmet attachments available, which somewhat limits the light’s utility for runners or cyclists. It is straightforward to cycle through the four modes – constant, breathe, flash, and eco-flash – by sequentially pressing the button.(Eco-flash reduces the light output to 5 lumens and increases the runtime to 24 hours.) It is also easy to switch the color from red to yellow by double pressing the button. Getting into so-called SOS mode is trickier and I have not gotten the hang of doing it consistently – but I don’t expect to use that mode. The light with its clamp weighs 41 g (1.5 oz), not heavy even with the strong magnet and similar to other rechargeable running and bike lights. This is a nice light that many will find handy, but, for me, the lack of an armband and bike helmet attachment means that I won’t use it much.

This BlinkO wearable LED light is perfect for my nightime dog walks! My dog has a flashing light that hangs with her tags so you can see the dog, but I didn’t have anything for myself. When I saw this on Vine, I figured it was a perfect opportunity to try it out!I’ve used it all week long on my evening/nighttime walks with our dog and it’s working perfectly! I used the clip to attach it to the back of my shirt and it worked great! it recharges easily and quickly and lasted for my walks all week long on a single charge (probably 2 hours worth of run time through the week).I would absolutely recommend this for evening dog walks or runs!
