This review is for the Bassdash Immerse Boot Foot Heather grey waders. I purchased the Large with a 12-13 boot. For reference I am a guy with medium build at 5’8″ and 180 pounds with a size 11.5 EE foot. I found the fit of these waders to be great. There is plenty of room in the boot, which is what I prefer and why I bought the 12-13 boot size. I bought these waders specifically to load my boat back on its trailer. This requires me to wade crotch deep to chest deep. I had been using Frog Toggs neoprene boot foot chest waders which were difficult to get on, very weighty and very hot in the summer. These Bassdash waders are a huge improvement. Light weight, far easier to get on and considerably cooler. I don’t use these waders in cold weather and generally only walk a short distance in them and have them on just long enough to load my boat so I can’t comment on other scenarios. I have tested them up to crotch deep so far and there are absolutely no leaks. I hope this is the case down the road, only time will tell. These waders have a lining on the inside that makes them easy to slide into. The outside lining appears to be durable and they are actually nice looking in the heather grey. I am very happy with these waders so far. The only improvement I can think of would be the problem common to boot foot waders and that is that the top of the boots are naturally “closed” which does make it a bit difficult to get your foot started into the boot. If there were a way to design the boots to stay at least a bit open at the top that would help immensely with getting them on. Presently I’m experimenting with stuffing an old shirt into the top of each boot in between uses to try and “train” them to keep the boot open at least a bit. Of course I have to remember to remove the shirts before I try and put the waders on. For my application these waders are great!Update 8-11-23I’m still very pleased with these waders and they are still leak free. They are excellent for my application.
